Wow! So many mamas came to Ana Piera's most recent Breakfast, Bumps & Babies event that she had to change locations to accommodate them and their sweet bubbas. The new location, Baker's Kitchen, was a perfect fit: good food, yummy lattes and so much space for kids to play whilst mums chatted away and listened to Ana's very special guest Dr. Emma Adsuar Gómez, specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Let's not forget that Katie from @katiejane_dubai organized fun activities for mums and babies, Tracey from @mummyista  offered mums a chance to buy beautiful clothes, a beautiful array of baby clothes and accessories was also on display by @lapetiteh.
Oh and did I mention that we left with a bag with a delicious loaf of Baker's Kitchen Bread and a succulent cookie from @nourinthekitchen?
And obviously I was there to snap pictures of it all!

Another fun Breakfast, Bumps and Babies morning at Tania's Teahouse hosted by the amazing Doula and Hypnobirthing instructor Ana Piera! I am lucky to have met this wonderful woman last year and to be invited to attend her events. I get to meet all these sweet babies and their beautiful mamas! Everyone has such a wonderful time at this monthly event, myself included :)

Only one brave mum would brave the Dubai summer temperature and ask for a beach maternity shoot: meet Asmik! I was sceptic...a pregnant mum in this heat for over 2 hours? Well...I am happy I agreed to melt in the heat to get some really sweet photos of her, her husband and the beautiful bump! Asmik's shoot was fun and turned out beautifully! (I must say I was relieved my lens did not fog up with the humidity!!)

A little more than a month ago I was in Al Zahra hospital with this amazing couple from Brazil. The mum really wanted a "natural birth". She labored the whole day...showing us how strong she is!! Her husband and I were impressed at how she stayed so focused and managed the contractions for hours on end. At 8pm she got the news that she would have to get a C-section. It was heartbreaking as we knew how much she wanted to birth this baby on her own. But again she impressed us by taking the news with such grace. At 10PM sharp she was taken to the operation room...and I had the chance to meet baby C the next morning!
